My Dear Lilith

My dear Lilith,
The apple of Eden,
Part Beelzebub, part Eve,
Cast out of the garden.

My dear Lilith,
Erased by Moses,
Ignored by the apostles,
Hidden by the Church.

My dear Lilith,
Wise, dominant, and strong,
Yet, scorned by the men of poetry,
Deceiver, Seductress, Jezebel, they write;
But all you wanted was equality in His eyes.

My dear Lilith,
Come back,
For you are my garden.

Love,
Adam.
